Hi there! I’m Junny, and I’d be delighted to be your music teacher! I’m currently finishing up my Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of British Columbia, and I’ve been playing music for over 15 years. I also hold my Royal Conservatory of Music Level 10 certificate in piano. I’ve been teaching music since 2022, working in both one-on-one and group settings with students of all ages and backgrounds. My approach to teaching is simple: music should feel rewarding and fun. I tailor each lesson to fit my students’ goals, whether that’s preparing for exams or recitals, improving technique, or just enjoying the process of making music. Alongside teaching, I have over 8 years of live performance experience, primarily as a guitarist for my jazz fusion band, Chopping Spree! Outside of music, I love connecting with friends, meeting new people, checking out live shows around town, and discovering new films. Cheers!
