Hey there! I'm Keandra. I started out at the Ontario Conservatory of Music, learning piano, and soon after, I couldn't resist the urge to write my own songs and explore my voice and from there, my journey only grew. I got signed by Sony Music Canada and Sony Music Publishing when I was 18, writing and publishing songs getting over 1M streams and being played on the radio. It’s been an exciting ride where I learned everything there is to know about being a musician and vocalist. From writing for other artists, myself and performing on big and small stages across Canada and the U.S. I had the chance to work alongside some incredible people including Grammy winning songwriters, artists and a vocal coach who taught Nelly Furtado who helped me develop into a highly skilled vocalist. Along the way, I discovered a deep love for teaching. After 4+ years of teaching at various schools in the GTA, I've found nothing beats the joy of seeing my students grow as vocalist, artists and individuals. My goal is to pass on my knowledge and my passion to my students. I want them to be able to learn but still have fun and gain confidence within themselves in the process. They will be learning vocal techniques and different exercises that specifically cater to their voice and will be singing and practicing different songs that they enjoy singing, to potentially even writing and creating their own songs from scratch down the line if that's something they are interested in doing.
