Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Laurie, and I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Music from York University. I've achieved my Grade 10 Practical Piano and Grade 8 Theory at the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have been teaching piano since 2021, gathering experiences in both formal settings and volunteer work across the Greater Toronto Area and internationally, including in Cambodia. I believe that with self-confidence, anything is achievable, and I embrace the reality that each student has a unique learning style. It is alright for everyone to learn differently; our ultimate goal is to create music together and inspire one another along the way. My strengths are transcribing and arranging music, composition, and sightreading. During my spare time, I play video games, watch TV shows, journal, read books, and play other instruments such as the flute and guitar.
