Which Hamilton areas do you serve?
We serve Hamilton across the lower city, mountain, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, Waterdown, plus surrounding areas including Burlington, Aldershot, Brantford, and the broader Niagara region. Each Hamilton neighborhood has its own teachers ordered by proximity.
How are Hamilton teachers vetted?
Every Hamilton Rockstar teacher is hand-picked and vulnerable-sector checked, the Canadian police-record screening required for working with children. Many are graduates of the McMaster University School of the Arts or the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, and several are active in Hamilton's renowned indie and experimental music scenes (Supercrawl, This Ain't Hollywood) alongside the city's classical and jazz traditions.
Do teachers really come to my Hamilton home?
Yes. The teacher travels to your home anywhere from the bayfront to the mountain, from Ancaster to Stoney Creek. We pair you with the closest qualified instructor so the schedule actually works through Hamilton's hill geography.
Can my Hamilton child learn rock, pop, or indie?
Yes. Hamilton has one of Canada's strongest indie music scenes and our roster reflects it: working musicians from the Supercrawl circuit alongside classical conservatory graduates, jazz players, songwriters, and recording artists. Each Hamilton Rockstar teacher brings their own musical story.
Do you teach RCM exam preparation in Hamilton?
Yes. Many Hamilton piano, violin, voice, and theory instructors prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music exams from preliminary through ARCT. Suzuki methodology is also offered for younger violin and piano students.
Can I take Hamilton lessons online instead?
Yes. Online lessons use the same instructors and curriculum as in-home. Convenient for families on the mountain or in surrounding regions like Brantford and Niagara. Select Online when booking.
